The Role Reporting to the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, this role involves interacting predominantly with the maintenance and processing departments to service and maintain the equipment in various areas such as the processing plant, tailings facilities, bore fields, village areas, and other auxiliary equipment.
The processing maintenance department plays a crucial role in optimizing the safety and performance of fixed plant assets and infrastructure across the Tanami operations, while also supporting and contributing to Newmont Australia Limited management, safety, and environmental initiatives.
About You Trade qualification in Carpentry Experience working in mining, heavy industrial or processing environments.
Well-developed problem-solving ability.
High level of self-motivation.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Working Conditions The position is FIFO, operating on an 8:6 work roster with hiring points from Darwin, Alice Springs, Perth, and Brisbane.
