About the Role An exciting new opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Asset Strategist to join our Loy Yang Engineering & Projects division.
We aim to be the best and most reliable supplier of brown coal and electricity in Australia.
To achieve this, AGL Loy Yang must continue to be a competitive, reliable, high quality and timely supplier of energy to its customers.
Reporting to the Maintenance Strategy & Performance Lead you will be responsible for the optimisation of maintenance strategies through the analysis of the reliability and availability (performance) of all production-related assets at the site to ensure delivery of our Asset Management Plan objectives.
What you'll be doing Coordinate continuous review, development and optimisation of maintenance strategies across both the Mine and Station.
Package preventative maintenance (PM) tasks into routines for execution at correct intervals as directed by Engineering.
Ensure Asset Management software for maintenance strategies is maintained and kept up to date.
Coordinate the regular reviews of existing maintenance strategies.
Coordinate and manage necessary consultant resources as required.
Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environment Systems and goals are introduced and adhered to while meeting the organisation's policies and standards.
About You To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated experience in a similar position within a heavy industrial setting, preferably open-cut mining or power generation.
Your expertise in planning, scheduling, and strategic analysis will assist the long-term success of AGL Loy Yang.
What you'll bring to the table Demonstrated extensive technical background / expertise.
Ability to operate in a dynamic, multi-functional team alongside Engineers and Technical Experts.
Well-developed communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders of all levels.
Relevant Engineering or Maintenance/Asset Management qualifications are advantageous, however not essential.
