Our Opportunity Work Location:  Hedland Operations – Rail.
Fortescue's Hedland Operations are located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.
Roster: 4 D/4N/8R – FIFO ex Perth or residential Key Responsibilities Operating all FMG trains over the expanding FMG Network, shunting, locomotive provisioning, general yard work, carry out minor repairs, vehicle checks and assisting RSM technicians as requested Ensuring that all customer's needs are met regarding the delivery of ore from the mine to port facilities by being flexible and using your initiatives and skills Assisting in coaching and developing the knowledge and skills of lesser experienced operators and trainees Qualifications and Experience Heavy haul experience (preferable) A current medical fitness to operate a locomotive A demonstrated commitment to Safety and Safe working A very good ability to problem solve and make decisions Previous experience of working effectively with a limited amount of supervision A current driver's licence Good computer literacy in MS Office software Cert 4 Locomotive Driving  Ability to pass a Category 1 Safety Critical Worker medical About Us Be part of something big.
