About the opportunity?  With the introduction of the latest generation sorting technology, Australia Post has moved from an era of mechanisation to automation, where processing operations, equipment and software are closely integrated and aligned, and scanning capability provides customers with greater visibility of their freight from pick-up through to delivery.
This will help us maintain our competitive advantage and provide high standards of service and delivery to meet our customers changing needs into the future.
You'll also Provide high level advice and support coordination to assist the Manager and facility staff Manage the end to end processing activities of assigned shift efficiently and effectively to meet operational performance targets.
Ensure adherence to an integrated production plan and participate in effective hand over procedures at start and end of shift.
Drive performance and process improvement initiatives Assist in the Implementation and monitoring of all facets of Australia Post's Diversity and OH&S Policies and Procedures Coach and where needed conduct performance conversations About you?  We're looking for candidates that are motivated and able to bring the best out of people under their leadership.
You'll also need Strong leadership and team building experience Experience in coaching and mentoring co-workers  Strong customer service focus involving direct contact with customers  Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment Ability to be flexible during periods of change Implementation of safety culture change programs Proven experience of prioritising, planning and scheduling.
