Reporting to the Supervisor: Underground Production, the successful incumbent of this role will be responsible for the provision of a safe, secure, quality and timely explosives management and supply to the underground operation to contribute to operational targets so that they may be met in a safe and efficient manner.
This role is offered on 8 days on and 6 days off, 7 nights on and 7 nights off roster and is FIFO from Perth.

Including but not limited to: maintenance of records, security of explosives products, stock on hand and reconciliation of usage.Undertake audits and ensure compliance with the sites explosives management plan and external statutory requirements relating to explosives management and use.Ensure goal achievement by working collaboratively with the mining team, technical team, onsite contractors and external suppliers to ensure the availability, security and safe use of all explosive products.Interaction with shift supervisors, charge up operators, explosives delivery and other operational personnel to plan the shift and ensure conflicting requirements are managed and all operational requirements are met.About you: Vast proven experience in underground operations.Previous experience in underground operations; in particular magazine keeping or charge up crews.Extensive record of safe underground mining practices.Dangerous Goods and Working at Heights Ticket is required.Valid manual drivers' licence is essential.Gold Fields is committed to achieving an inclusive workforce.
