About the Role:
Due to continued growth, Mader is currently seeking Grounds-person/Gardener to work as a key member of the remote maintenance team on a mine site.
Undertakes horticultural duties such as garden maintenance, pruning, replanting, mulching and litter collection.
Maintain and enhance site grounds and garden.
Turf management, tree and shrub maintenance, mowing, weed control and watering the grounds.
Apply fertilizers, pesticides/herbicides and soil amendments.
Assist with maintenance activities to structures and services as required.
Provide proactive maintenance to structures and services as required.
Industrial cleaning where required.
Operating equipment – mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedgers, tractors, brush cutters and vans.
Irrigation troubleshooting and maintenance.

What do I need to join?
Certificate 3 in Horticulture.
Chemical handling experience.
Valid Driver's Licence (MR and above desirable).
National Police Check within 6 months or willing to get.
Construction/White Card.
Strong commitment towards safety and quality.
