We work closely with Australian and international businesses, organisations, and governments.About the roleWe are actively seeking junior lawyers with an interest and experience in Administrative law to join our well-regarded Sydney Public Law team. The team is renowned for its exceptional mentorship and positive culture, supported by encouraging partners.Working closely with a Senior Associate and Partner, you will work on a variety of public law matters, including administrative decision-making, merits review, and judicial review proceedings in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and Federal Courts. You will have hands-on experience managing matters from start to finish, attend and conduct case conferences, conciliations, and hearings, be responsible for preparing high-quality submissions, evidence, and legal documentation, and liaising with all stakeholders.This rewarding role offers an exceptional career opportunity for advancement and growth, working alongside professionals who share similar goals in a collaborative team environment.About youA recently admitted lawyer (1-3 years PQE preferred) with strong academic qualificationsCommercial litigation, contentious and regulatory experienceStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high-volume workloadA focus on delivering exceptional client serviceA proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Maddocks is simply a great place to do great work.
