Mad About Plants Nursery is a leading wholesale/production nursery, established in 1998, and located on 16 acres just a 15-minute drive from Cairns City in Far North Queensland. Nestled between the World Heritage Wet Tropics and the Great Barrier Reef, our location offers not only a tropical paradise but also an unparalleled lifestyle opportunity.
We specialize in growing tropical plants, palms, architectural species, ground covers, native and exotic shrubs, and trees. Supplying to the landscape trade, wholesale nurseries, big box retail outlets, and other retail outlets, we proudly service projects from the Torres Strait to Melbourne.

The Role:
As Nursery Manager, you will lead our team and oversee all operations, including plant production, inventory management, customer relationships, and compliance. You will have complete control over the recruitment process, allowing you to build a team of your choice and structure it to enable success in achieving the nursery's goals. You'll focus on maintaining the highest standards of plant quality while driving efficiency, sustainability, and profitability. This role is about ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while innovating for the future.
