About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join MACRO as a Business Development Manager. Operating out of our new office located in Shepparton, VIC, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and sales for the company. With a focus on the CNC Plasma and Fiber Laser machinery, you will play a strategic role in expanding MACRO's client base and market reach. A large majority of the work will be phone calls to new and existing clients.
What you'll be doing
Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities through active prospecting, networking and lead generation Developing and executing effective sales strategies to convert prospects into customers Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders Providing detailed proposals, quotes and presentations to potential clients Collaborating with the wider sales and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of services Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets What we're looking for
Proven experience in a new business development or sales role, especially cold calling. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and translate client needs into viable solutions Demonstrated success in prospecting, qualifying leads and closing sales Proficient in using CRM systems and sales enablement tools What we offer
