With a culture of genuine care, a flexible approach to work and opportunities across the group to grow your career and make a meaningful impact, the possibilities for what we can achieve together are endless.   What you'll do   As our Analytics Manager, you will work hands-on and lead our effort on how to best use space across Woolworths Supermarkets; you'll work on developing data-led long-term / future solutions and optimising near-term/current capabilities.    In this role, you will have an opportunity to position yourself as a strategic thought leader, demonstrate your influencing skills and ability to interact with senior stakeholders, and demonstrate your ability to work cross functionally to influence resources to support the delivery of the roadmap.   Coach & develop junior members of the team, providing thought-leadership and upskilling of both analytical thinking and retail acumen Understand how to best leverage the advanced analytics of our space optimisation tools, ensuring that proposed space recommendations not only improve the customer experience, but enable the greatest commercial & strategic outcomes Actively drive continuous improvement initiatives that will improve our customer experiences, while evolving our management of space in-line with strategic objectives Partner end to end within our macro space chapter to enable the execution of key outcomes & recommendations across strategic programs, where high range and space complexity exists Champion our macro space toolkit across the business, identifying opportunities for improvement and better utilisation in-line with program learnings and project nuances   What you'll bring With a focus on business results and creating value, you will bring a curious and creative mindset to deliver multi- million strategy & analytics projects, preferably from a leading retailer, and/or management consulting firm, or a large commercial organisation.   You have a resilient and ambitious personality with the ability to genuinely listen to your key stakeholders, think strategically as well as identify and solve root-cause problems. Stakeholder engagement holds no secrets for you! You are an effective communicator who can liaise and empathise with all types of stakeholders. You are also a strong collaborator with an agile and growth mindset who is looking to take on a new challenge that requires expertise in driving and delivering results and the ability to negotiate and influence cross-functional stakeholders.  An analytical thinker, with capability of breaking information into component parts, patterns and relationships to derive actionable insights for both short and long-term strategies Able to challenge effectively and demonstrate resilience, regularly identify risks and mitigating any negative impacts through proactive risk assessment Ability to effectively build and maintain relationships and engage with a range of stakeholders A confident communicator and storyteller; with strong visualisation, verbal and written skills An understanding of SQL & ability to run basic queries   What you'll experience   We embrace diversity of thought and love to take on challenges with a pragmatic and innovative approach.
