Join our Global Operational Risk team based in Sydney who play a key role in the second line of defence supporting the Macquarie Capital Business across the APAC and ANZ regions.

What role will you play? In this role, you will advise Macquarie Capital's regional business and risk teams on first line implementation of central policy and framework, provide independent operational risk oversight, and insights for the business across our ANZ and APAC regions.
You will support the approval of principal transactions and material change initiatives, whilst utilising your risk management expertise to drive a strong risk management culture.
In addition, you will partner with and support Macquarie Capital and Line 1 Risk teams by ensuring processes are adequately assessed, potential risk causes are identified, and controls are effectively designed and operated to mitigate a failure in people, processes or systems.
What you offer Solid understanding of Operational Risk Management frameworks and are familiar with Operational Risk toolkits such as RCSAs and scenario analysis.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesise information to identify themes and priorities for the business.Strong stakeholder management skills, being able to effectively build relationships with stakeholders at various levels across multiple locations.Experience and knowledge of Investment Management and Private Capital is highly desirable, but not essential.We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us. About the Risk Management Group In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie's material risks.
