Data Loss Prevention Governance and Risk Manager Join our Cybersecurity Information Protection team within our Corporate Operations Group where you will work to design and develop automated reporting, request flows and security governance processes as part of our ongoing transformation initiatives.

What role will you play? You will play a key role in driving the data loss prevention strategy and governance across Macquarie group and work with Macquarie's business units to understand their data loss risks and control adoption.
Your responsibilities include challenging, identifying, and overseeing data controls, as well as developing metrics and supporting risk and compliance. Additionally, you will monitor progress, drive insights through analysis, and review outcomes to ensure consistent practices are embedded.
What you offer Experience in cybersecurity risk related roles, with the ability to clearly articulate risks Understanding of data loss risk across various exfiltration vectors including web, email, endpoint and cloud technologies Understanding of industry best practices and technologies used to mitigate data loss events Ability to articulate problems to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Effective stakeholder management skills within challenging business environments at all seniority levels Good understanding of security incident management in relation to data loss events Ability to interpret complex raw data and articulate key takeaways Ability to work effectively independently and in a collaborative team environment.
