About this opportunity:
Working within the Portfolio Management Office part of the Instructure & Operations Directorate you will be responsible for managing the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of various council projects and programs, from the detailed design phase through to handover/commission.
The projects will vary in size and complexity, and you will need to ensure that they are delivered to the agreed criteria, ensuring safety, cost, timeliness, quality, scope and customer satisfaction are consistent with council's strategy, commitments and goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in the water and wastewater field would be highly regarded Qualification in a related field such as Engineering or Building and Construction Management Contract management training. Significant experience in liaising with consultants, contractors and suppliers. Experience in report writing and with the ability to clearly articulate issues and propose solutions.
