RequirementsDegree in Civil Engineering preferred or minimum of Diploma of Civil ConstructionDemonstrated commitment to ensuring a safety-first cultureProven experience in a senior management role within a large civil construction companyAsphalt project experience conducted to State Road Authority requirementsHigh degree of Leadership experience with proven people management skillsProven ability to liaise and negotiate with customers to ensure a suitable outcome for all partiesSound understanding of the development, implementation and maintenance of quality, safety and environmental management systemsProven ability to project manage complex civil construction projectsStrong understanding of private company accounting and finance systems and proceduresExperience in short and long-term organisational planning and strategy as a member of the senior management teamHigh level of verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management styleBudget development and forecasting experienceA demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplaceBased at our Mackay Depot, the successful applicant will have the chance to work for a successful 'family' oriented organisation with the opportunities of progression associated with Downer.
