RPQ operates out of locations spread over Queensland and New South Wales and boasts a high level of industry experience across our management, operational and support staff.We provide unparalleled services to our clients and are seeking a Manager in Mackay, who is committed to providing high-quality service in a professional and timely manner.You will need:Degree in Civil Engineering preferred or minimum of Diploma of Civil ConstructionDemonstrated commitment to ensuring a safety-first cultureProven experience in a senior management role within a large civil construction companyAsphalt project experience conducted to State Road Authority requirementsHigh degree of Leadership experience with proven people management skillsProven ability to liaise and negotiate with customers to ensure a suitable outcome for all partiesSound understanding of the development, implementation and maintenance of quality, safety and environmental management systemsProven ability to project manage complex civil construction projectsStrong understanding of private company accounting and finance systems and proceduresExperience in short and long-term organisational planning and strategy as a member of the senior management teamHigh level of verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management styleBudget development and forecasting experienceA demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplaceBased at our Mackay Depot, the successful applicant will have the chance to work for a successful 'family' oriented organisation with the opportunities of progression associated with Downer, Permanent full-time position.Competitive remuneration package including tool of trade vehicle and mobile phone.
