RPQ provides a range of quality services in road construction and maintenance. As a part of the Downer Group, RPQ employs over 200 staff and has a fleet of over 300 machines.
RPQ operates out of locations spread over Queensland and New South Wales and boasts a high level of industry experience across our management, operational and support staff.
We provide unparalleled services to our clients and are seeking a Manager in Mackay, who is committed to providing high-quality service in a professional and timely manner.
You will need:
Degree in Civil Engineering preferred or minimum of Diploma of Civil Construction Demonstrated commitment to ensuring a safety-first culture Proven experience in a senior management role within a large civil construction company Asphalt project experience conducted to State Road Authority requirements High degree of Leadership experience with proven people management skills Proven ability to liaise and negotiate with customers to ensure a suitable outcome for all parties Sound understanding of the development, implementation and maintenance of quality, safety and environmental management systems Proven ability to project manage complex civil construction projects Strong understanding of private company accounting and finance systems and procedures Experience in short and long-term organisational planning and strategy as a member of the senior management team High level of verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style Budget development and forecasting experience A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace Based at our Mackay Depot, the successful applicant will have the chance to work for a successful family-oriented organisation with opportunities for progression associated with Downer. This is a permanent full-time position.
