Role: Working Leading Hand to oversee 3 Machinist/Fitters in our Geraldton workshops. Location: Preference for candidates living in or willing to relocate to Geraldton. Open to discussions if currently based in Perth. Compensation: Competitive salary/hourly rate for the right candidate. Hours: Up to 50 hours per week with flexible scheduling. Requirements Minimum 2 years supervisor or leading hand experience. Construction Industry White Card. Current Police Clearance (obtained within the past 12 months). Current Driver's License. Other Abilities Technical Skills: Experience with machining and operating machines, including Milling, Manual Lathe, CNC Programming, Hydraulic Press, and Balancing Machine. Work Ethic: Ability to work independently with high motivation, energy, and commitment, managing multiple priorities effectively. Desirable Qualifications: High Risk LF, Dogging, WAH, EWP, MR Truck Licence, and experience with QAQC Management and paperwork. Safety & Compliance: Familiarity with safe work systems, OHS, and mining standards, OSR, with the ability to supervise workshop and site activities safely. Project Support: Assist with design input, estimating, tendering, innovation, and employee scheduling. Problem Solving: Ability to actively solve problems and work unsupervised. Collaboration: Open-mindedness and willingness to work collaboratively, support continuous improvement, and adapt to system management environments.
