We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and experienced individual to join our close-knit team.
We are a family-run fruit farm looking for someone who values a strong work ethic, embraces a "family farm" attitude, and will be the right fit for our team and operations.
Key Responsibilities: Fruit Delivery: Safely deliver fruit using a truck and ute.Loading & Unloading: Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and prepare fruit for delivery.Tractor Operations: Drive tractors for spraying and slashing duties.Machinery Maintenance: Perform general repairs and maintenance on farm machinery, including servicing tractors, changing blades on slashers, and troubleshooting and resolving machinery issues.Supervision: Oversee fruit-picking and handling activities, ensuring quality and efficiency.What We're Looking For: Has experience and a mature approach to their work.Understands the responsibilities of working on a family farm and takes pride in being part of a team.Can adapt to the varied demands of farm life and maintain a positive, proactive attitude.Requirements: Licenses: Must hold an MR class or greater license.Transport: Does not need to live in Bucca but must have reliable transport to get to the farm.Availability: Flexibility to work on any day of the week, depending on seasonal and picking schedules.
Days off will be discussed and arranged.Experience & Skills: Proven experience with truck driving and tractor operations.
Forklift experience (license preferred but not essential).
Mechanical aptitude for farm machinery maintenance and repair.
