We have an exciting opportunity for a trade qualified technician to join our team of machine systems technicians. This is a full-time permanent role, predominantly servicing sites in the Bundaberg region.The main objective of the role is to maintain, repair, and retool plant and equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations, with a focus on upholding safety and maximizing production at our customer's sites.For this role we would ideally like you to have:Strong trade qualified skills (hydraulic, electrical, or pneumatic experience advantageous)Good fitting, fabrication, and troubleshooting skillsAbility to effectively perform preventative maintenance tasksThe ability to work autonomously, but also enjoy being a part of a teamStrong attention to detail and communication skills (written and oral)Robust problem-solving skillsFlexibility, initiative, and proactiveThe ability to participate in rotating call-outs and shifts during times of peak seasonal demand and as requiredAn uncompromising attitude towards Health & SafetyLimited or full electrical licenses desirableFibre Packaging or production machinery knowledge advantageousThis is an interesting and varied role for the successful applicant.
