Due to growth, we're seeking a Machine Shop Manager to join their team. Within this role, you will achieve outcomes of the business in producing high quality products to both internal and external customers. You'll be a strong leader with a focus on both people and equipment management, as well as providing support to the Operations Manager.

The role: To maintain a production schedule for the department to meet both internal and external customer delivery requirements.To plan, prioritise, assign, supervise and review the work of all staff within the Machine Shop and Welding Bay areas.Identify and implement continuous improvement changes.To operate Machines if/when required to meet delivery requirements.To assist with quoting, project management, materials purchasing and quality checks.To coordinate maintenance of all Machine Shop equipment.To manage performance of your team including CNC specialists, Machinists, Boilermakers and Operators.
