We offer highly differentiated technology services to our customers.What you'll contribute to the positionThe Machine Learning Engineer is a key role focused on delivering value. You will support our clients in defining and implementing a data journey aligned with their strategic objectives. This role is high impact, offering the opportunity to reinforce and stretch a number of critical leadership skills. You will be exposed to senior leaders across the Group and be involved in developing, implementing and supporting the business banking and institutional banking business units.You will build strong working relationships with key business and technology stakeholders to deliver value through data and analytics that helps deliver the Group's data and analytics strategy.RequirementsExperience:5+ years of experience in a commercial data science, machine learning, or an AI-related field, with a focus on legacy technology modernisation.Proven track record in code and metadata discovery projects.Technical Skills:Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.Extensive experience with the AWS ecosystem, including data processing and machine learning tools.Familiarity with generative AI frameworks (e.g., GPT, BERT) and their applications.Must have experience in SDLC productivity use cases.Soft Skills:Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.Benefits and perksOngoing professional and career developmentWe offer a highly competitive rewards and benefits package, including private healthcare and more.We're growing, so there will be plenty of opportunities to grow your career with us as we expandLots of social activitiesA learning organization - we invest our time and money in learningSupporting individual learning opportunities, hosting, and attending 'brown bag' lunches, meetupsIf this opportunity sounds like something you would be interested in, we want to hear from you!
