This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring all visual content meets brand guidelines and is production-ready, working closely with marketing, design, and production teams to deliver top-quality assets.This role can be based at any of Skills Group's locations, giving you the flexibility to work from the office most convenient for you.You'll have the chance to influence design across a diverse range of projects and bring creative ideas to life, ensuring consistency and quality across all channels.Key Responsibilities Artwork Creation and Preparation: Develop and refine designs using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Ensure artwork is production-ready for both print and digital distribution.Quality Control: Proof and check layouts, images, and final artwork for accuracy, ensuring colour calibration and image resolution meet high standards.Collaboration: Work closely with graphic designers and the marketing team to align creative outputs with brand and campaign goals.
Liaise with external printers and production teams to ensure the final output meets specifications.File Management: Maintain organised archives of design files and versions.
Ensure file compatibility across platforms and safeguard file integrity.Brand Compliance: Ensure all artwork adheres to company branding guidelines and marketing strategies, maintaining visual consistency across all collateral.Desired Skills And ExperienceAbout youYou're a talented and detail-oriented designer with a passion for creating high-quality visual content.
You bring:A Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.Proficiency in Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).Strong understanding of pre-press and production processes for both print and digital media.At least 3 years of experience in a similar role (graphic design, desktop publishing, or production art).Experience working in marketing or advertising environments is a plus.Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.Ability to proof artwork to ensure accuracy and high-quality standards.Why join us?At Skills Group, our culture is built on the vital signs of Joy, Manaakitanga, Collab, and Bold.
