This role will provide onsite/on-call assistance to end-users within the organisation's desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.
Roles and Responsibilities: Setup and configuration of all MAC OS systemsKnowledge in Zero Touch Deployment for MACsProvide 2nd & 3rd Level Software SupportKnowledge of JAMFExperience with JAMF self-service management and command-lineImaging and reimaging of MAC's Laptops to latest OS VersionDiagnosing and Troubleshooting MAC related OS and Hardware problemsIMACPerform Software Installations on all Apple devicesSmart Hands ActivitiesProvide remote support for users traveling or at homeProvide VPN support on Mac devicesProvide accurate asset information within the ticketing system to ensure an accurate asset databasePerform refresh of end-user devices in alignment with refresh schedulesAssist with Mac inventory activities as required weekly and monthlyProper Documentation of End User Issues within Service NowBackup and Restoration of End User DataCreate, modify, and maintain MAC processes and policiesMaintain an incident/IMAC resolution/closure rate of 5+ tickets per dayAbility to work in Active Directory for Windows if neededAbility to work within Service NowStrong ability to interact with CustomersIn-depth knowledge of: MAC/Mac SupportJAMF SupportApple SpecialistMAC Operating systemsStrong Troubleshooting of Mac Hardware or Software environmentsExperience in a similar role: 3+ years of relevant experience.Must Have: JAMF Certification What next?
