Utilities Vehicle and Concrete Equipment Specialist Reporting to the Operations Manager Jacon Equipment & Comet Equipment, this position will be primarily responsible for working with aftermarket support for technical needs for Utility vehicle, concrete pumping equipment, concrete transportation equipment, stackers, and water tanks for mobile equipment nationally and sometimes internationally.

This role will involve excitement in being involved with new equipment going to market and supporting the current fleet operational. The position does involve travel to mine sites, civil construction sites, and other areas where our equipment operates.
The expectation of this role is to become skilled in activities for equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis. Predelivery work and service on occasions will be needed. There is also an active hire fleet where pre-hire and de-hire inspections are needed as well as on-site support.
Key responsibilities: This role is active with a 60-70% field exposure. Provide technical support to customers, both internal and external. Advise and give feedback to the factory based on customer feedback. Train clients and commission equipment. Conduct repairs and maintenance based on requests from customers. Complete pre-hire and de-hire inspection reports for equipment. Perform testing, adjusting, and fault-finding diagnostics. Conduct root cause analyses of parts failing in the field and provide inputs on warranty claims. Collaborate with the sales team, factory engineering, supply chain, and customers. Install modification kits and verify installation instructions from the factory. Plan and audit site maintenance, making recommendations on best practice maintenance programs. Build training material. Perform other duties as required. The position is based in Sydney, Newcastle, or Brisbane; however, flexibility is available for the right candidate.
