Regional Quarries is seeking a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Mechanical Fitter to join their team at South Keswick Quarry, based in Dubbo.
This role is suitable for a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Mechanical Fitter who is punctual, has an excellent work ethic, and takes pride in their work.
Key responsibilities: Carrying out mechanic repairs and preventative maintenance of vehicles, plant, and mobile equipment. Ownership of repairs while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Working to tight schedules whilst maintaining high-quality standards. Coordinating with suppliers to source parts based on quality and best price. Maintaining professional and clear communication with all staff. Liaising with supervisors and quarry managers regularly. Knowledge and experience required: 2 years+ experience in a repair and maintenance role. Sound knowledge of diesel engines and emissions. Sound knowledge of drivetrain, brakes, and suspension. Ability to work flexible hours. Full working rights within Australia.
