Maas are currently seeking a motivated Asset and Warehouse Manager to join our high performing team based in Dubbo NSW.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Asset and Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the efficient management of asset, inventory, and warehousing.
Primary objectives of the position: Identify opportunities to maximise asset utilisation and return on invested capital. Analyse operational metrics from mobile assets to improve performance and maximise returns. Support daily operations, including workshop optimisation, strategic partnerships, insurance claim management, and acquisitions. Assess risks involved with new initiatives, ensure deadlines are met, and be ready to handle unexpected situations. Fleet planning and performance monitoring. Volume planning and lifecycle management. Utilise problem solving and solution-focused thinking to deliver successful outcomes for commercial opportunities. Build effective relationships with key stakeholders across the business. Respectfully challenge team members with a mindset of best practice and continuous improvement. Perform day-to-day duties with a commercial mindset. Manage all assets and their respective maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep. Coordinate with multiple job sites requiring site facilities and their deliveries. Organise collection, cleaning, maintenance, and safe storage of any site facilities that are returned or sent to sites. Order stock for general uses. Undertake minor works to keep items in working order. Provide early notification of key plant issues and possible resolutions. Skills and experience required: Minimum 5+ years qualified experience with a demonstrated understanding of fleet or commercial assets. Strong drive, energy, and passion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders across a business. Proven ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure. Flexible and adaptable approach to achieving outcomes. Computer skills in Microsoft suite and general computer use.
