The Construction Supervisor role at Maas Homes is a key position that oversees all aspects of the residential construction of new homes - directly reporting to the Maas Homes Construction Manager. The role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
Primary duties responsibilities:
Complete weekly Construction updates with the Construction manager, ensuring that each project is forward scheduled via the software operating system. Proactive and scheduling allocation of materials and trades to job sites to ensure timely construction of homes. Complete weekly site safety checks on every project and log communication through operating software management systems, e.g., Toolbox talks, as per company policies and procedures. Oversee assigned construction projects and monitor compliance with building and safety regulations. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Review cost estimates and track expenses. Approve the process of weekly invoices and reallocation of purchase orders. Address and resolve any construction defects or issues promptly via the operating software management systems. Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. Collaborate cross-functionally with all departments within Maas Group Properties, including, but not limited to, the sales, planning and building services teams. Essential requirements:
Motivated, well organised, customer focused and able to prioritise tasks. Strong ability to identify defects or problems proactively and take the necessary actions to rectify or prevent problems in an efficient manner. A Building Trade Certificate or tertiary education in Construction Management. 5 years experience within the Residential Project Home Industry is desired. Outstanding leadership, communication and planning abilities with a passion for working in a fast-paced environment. Travel is an essential and regular requirement to meet and liaise with customers, suppliers and contractors. Ideal role for a builder or carpenter who would like to get off the tools - Trade Qualified Background. Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, rules, regulations and quality standards and the standards and tolerance act. Experienced use of industry-leading systems and programs, such as Framework, Build pass, Office 365, or similar. Strongly developed decision-making and problem-solving skills. Productive and efficient multi-tasker with proactive and flexible time management skills. Ability to work with evolving technology in the industry, such as App based programs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
