About the role: Astley's Plumbing and Hardware are seeking a highly organised Administration Assistant to deliver administrative support to our team.
Key responsibilities: Provide general administration support to all departments in the business. Prepare communications, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence. Provide consistent and high-quality customer service. Document processing and data entry. Adhere to company policies and procedures. Accounts payable (AP): entering invoices, seeking appropriate Management authorisation, reconciling supplier accounts, liaising with suppliers, investigating and resolving supplier issues. Accounts receivable (AR): invoicing and receipting, receiving physical payments, customer account reconciliations, front line customer service including investigating and resolving customer queries. Bank reconciliations for the designated companies. All aspects of EOM close and reporting on AP/AR for financial management team for the designated companies. Effective and clear communication with other team members in the shared services division and the financial management team. Knowledge and experience required: Excellent communication skills. Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Knowledge of AP/AR procedures. Competent Microsoft PC skills and aptitude. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Enthusiastic team member. Adaptability. Use of initiative, pro-active and organised approach to work. Well presented.
