This is a great opportunity to diversify your Accounts Management experience in utilities, construction, and resources industry.
The position will be working within a small team, where our ideal candidate incorporates teamwork and collaboration into their day to day, whilst providing mentorship and guidance.
Tasks for this role include: Overseeing the daily operations and providing leadership to the Finance team.
Partnering with the Financial Controller on key management reporting and analysis.
Leading the statutory reporting process, including full-year and half-year audits.
Assisting the Operations Manager - Finance and Risk with cash flow management and earnings forecasts.
Collaborating with the Financial Controller on monthly management reports and budget preparation.
Month end close and balance sheet reconciliation.
Our Ideal Candidate has: Strong financial management competency and problem-solving skills.
Advanced working knowledge of Xero (required) and Definitiv (desirable).
A sense of comfortability working in a cross-cultural setting.
The ability to work as part of the Accounts team and the broader Operations team.
Experience in preparing budgets, Profit and Loss Statements, long term strategies and tax preparation.
Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll.
Essential Requirements: 5+ years experience as an Accounts or Finance Manager, or similar.
Relevant Tertiary, diploma or Cert IV in Accounting and/or Finance is highly desirable.
