About Your Role The Physiotherapy department at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital is looking for a hardworking, experienced and team oriented Physiotherapist. The Lymphoedema Physiotherapist is responsible for providing high quality care to those experiencing, or who are at risk of, experiencing lymphoedema.
The position is primarily outpatient based however does work with the multidisciplinary team care with inpatient cases at times. The department has an L-Dex machine to monitor for fluid build-up following various surgeries as we play a key role in not only managing lymphoedema, but preventing it.
Our team currently consists of around 20 Physiotherapists who play a crucial role in the hospital and community settings. The hospital and outpatient departments are modern and spacious.
