We globally provide total logistics services to about 1,000 customers in diverse industries such as electronics, machinery, chemicals, oil refining, and construction, with approximately 43 branches worldwide and its headquarters in South Korea, ranked no. 6 in the world for ocean freight volume, moving 1.7 million TEUs per annum. As the business expands, LX Pantos Australia is looking to bring in full-time, experienced professionals to handle the daily activities in relation to contract logistics based in Melbourne CBD, Victoria. This position requires a focused, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual to collaborate with internal/external customers in a third-party logistics environment. This position is located in the CBD, at the client's office.
For the position, you will be responsible for: Ensuring supply chain management - receipt of stock, inspection and storage, stock takes, order receiving, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory management updates. Arranging transport to meet customer delivery time requirements. Undertaking SCM activities to meet relevant operational procedures, regulations, and maintenance of facilities, and preparing cost analysis and internal reports. Ensuring operations and preparing internal reports of profit and loss, inventory, etc., for senior management and external customers. Providing customer care and excellent communication, using systems to respond within agreed timeframes. Undertaking other ad hoc duties as required. For this role, you will have: A minimum of one year of relevant experience in customer service and/or administration in logistics. A careful approach to physical stock handling. Inventory management skills and hand-picking/packing experience (IT devices). Well-presented email communication, with fast and accurate responding skills. A proactive "can-do" attitude, problem-solving abilities, and excellent customer care. Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding National & State (VIC) holidays. If this sounds like you, please apply.
