We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner at our Coppabella Moorvale Joint Venture (CMJV) Mine. Our CMJV mine complex consists of two open-cut mine operations located approximately 140 kilometres southwest of Mackay that produce premium low-volatile pulverized coal (LV-PCI) for export markets, with an extension of an additional pit at Moorvale South, adding to our coal production.
About the role:
This role will report to the Maintenance Engineering and Planning Superintendent and provide a high level of Maintenance Planning support to the Light Vehicle and Auxiliary Fleet.
Duties will include: Maintain and improve maintenance planning and scheduling to maximise equipment availability and reliabilityEnsure maintenance strategies are implementedMaintain master data records and manage warranty processesDevelop, plan and schedule activities for short, mid term and long term rangesAn active role in forecasting costs for planned workAdherence to work management proceduresEnsure compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, and site policies and proceduresThe lifestyle:
This position is offered on a 9 day fortnight (Monday to Friday, Monday to Thursday) roster and can allow for a residential (Moranbah or Nebo), DIDO or FIFO lifestyle. Employees living residentially may have access to a $15,000 housing allowance and may have the ability to salary sacrifice up to 50% of rental payments.
About you: Mechanical/Electrical Fitter or Motor Mechanic Trade3+ years of maintenance planning and scheduling mechanical, hydraulic and electrical equipmentStrong working knowledge of SAP, maintenance planning and scheduling principles and proceduresStrong interpersonal and communication skillsDemonstrated experience in safety systems and processesRequirements for the position: Relevant Trades qualification or min 5 years demonstrated experience in similar roleHigh Level of Knowledge of Maintenance Work Management ProcessHigh Level of Knowledge of CMMSSkilled in SAP PM ModuleHigh Level of Knowledge of Defect EliminationQMS1, QMS2, QMS3Generic Coal (Surface) InductionCoal Board MedicalIn addition to the above, you will have a genuine commitment to safety and demonstrate a sound understanding of risk and hazard identification.
