We are currently seeking a LV Maintenance Planner at our Coppabella Moorvale Joint Venture (CMJV) Mine.
Our CMJV mine complex consists of two open-cut mine operations located approximately 140 kilometres southwest of Mackay that produce premium low-volatile pulverized coal (LV-PCI) for export markets, with an extension of an additional pit at Moorvale South, adding to our coal production.
About the role:
We are currently seeking a Light Vehicle & Auxiliary Equipment Planner for our Coppabella/Moorvale Joint Venture.
This role will report to the Maintenance Engineering and Planning Superintendent and provide a high level of Maintenance Planning support to the Light Vehicle and Auxiliary Fleet.
Duties will include: Maintain and improve maintenance planning and scheduling to maximise equipment availability and reliability. Ensure maintenance strategies are implemented. Maintain master data records and manage warranty processes. Develop, plan and schedule activities for short, mid-term and long-term ranges. Take an active role in forecasting costs for planned work. Adhere to work management procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, and site policies and procedures. The lifestyle: This position is offered on a 9-day fortnight (Monday to Friday, Monday to Thursday) roster and can allow for a residential (Moranbah or Nebo), DIDO or FIFO lifestyle.
Employees living residentially may have access to a $15,000 housing allowance and may have the ability to salary sacrifice up to 50% of rental payments.
About you: Mechanical/Electrical Fitter or Motor Mechanic Trade. 3+ years of maintenance planning and scheduling mechanical, hydraulic and electrical equipment. Strong working knowledge of SAP, maintenance planning and scheduling principles and procedures. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated experience in safety systems and processes. Requirements for the position: Relevant Trades qualification or minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in a similar role. High Level of Knowledge of Maintenance Work Management Process. High Level of Knowledge of CMMS. Skilled in SAP PM Module. High Level of Knowledge of Defect Elimination. QMS1, QMS2, QMS3. Generic Coal (Surface) Induction. Coal Board Medical. In addition to the above, you will have a genuine commitment to safety and demonstrate a sound understanding of risk and hazard identification.
