Taurus is a privately owned and operated specialist mining supplier with various clients around Australia. On behalf of our clients we a seeking applications from an experienced LV Fitter at our clients team. This would be for surface workshop and some underground mobile plant maintenance. This is a Temp to Perm role at our clients owner operated Gold mine. Duties will included:
Carry out mechanical predictive maintenance, repairs, fault diagnostics and general duties as required on Toyota's, Land Rovers and other mobile and fixed mining equipment.
Roles are FIFO from Perth only.
Roster – 14 days on, 14 days off DAY SHIFT ONLY To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following;
Hold an Australian recognised mechanical tradesperson qualification.
Manual WA Driver's License
Working Safely at Heights certificate
Practical mining experience working as an Light Vehicle Fitter or Mechanic. Underground experience preferred. Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and provide helpful assistance/guidance to members of the team as required

What's in it for you?
Casual hourly flat rate will be assessed based on experience. Super paid on all hours Roster – 14/14 - DAY SHIFT ONLY Weekly pays. Roles are FIFO from Perth only. Permanent salaried position with our client after short labour hire period.
Successful candidates will also be required to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test. This will be done at our expense not yours.
