Lutheran School Officer (Library Officer) Contract Type: Permanent/Ongoing Position Part Time (0.85 FTE) Applications Close: 8 November 2024 Join our innovative Village community. Redeemer Lutheran School has an exciting opportunity for a passionate Library Officer to join our dynamic team.
Redeemer Lutheran School is an innovative and well-resourced School and Early Learning Centre, with outstanding facilities and an excellent reputation for delivering a contemporary and internationally accredited education program for children and families in the Barossa Valley region.
Position Description: The Library Officer will manage the day-to-day operation of our new Resource Centre. They will reflect a sound understanding of, and a commitment to, the Mission, Vision and Values of Redeemer Lutheran School.
The Library Officer will have duties and responsibilities that include:
Ensuring the smooth running of the Library Supporting Teaching and Learning Providing Administration support Personal Requirements, Skills and Attributes: The Library Officer will:
Have a love of children's literature Be pleasant and approachable Have a love of children and ability to build relationships with them Have excellent organisational and time management skills Have flexibility to deal with a constantly changing school environment Have empathy with the ethos of a Lutheran school Have the ability to work in a team and independently Work to deadlines Use initiative Have a high level of ICT skills This position commences on the 20th January, 2025.
