About The Role We have an opportunity for a Day Services Coordinator to join the team at our Cataby operation.
The Cataby mining operation is located near the Town of Dandaragan, approximately 150 kilometres north of Perth. This position is offered on a Drive in Drive out (DIDO) basis, on a family-friendly 8/6 roster.
Reporting to the Mining Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of day services and dewatering operations at Cataby. Additionally, you will train and mentor the day services team to ensure that safe work practices are achieved.
Key elements of the role include: Manage daily detailed pipework and associated activities on site. Supervise contractors and employees to ensure compliance with relevant specifications. Drive continuous improvement of best practice processes while meeting schedules on time, safely, and within budget. Minimise downtime associated with the relocation of field-based plant and infrastructure. Develop, maintain, and review all tails and dewatering procedures. About You To be successful for this role, you will have:
Demonstrated experience in major resource environments. Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills at all levels. Commitment and proactive approach to safety and the environment. Previous supervisory experience in a mining resource setting. Proven ability to provide training and instruction to ensure effectiveness across the day services team.
