Lubrication Technician Australia Trending Job Description About the Role Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisors, the role provides lubrication services to Fremantle Ports Outer Harbour fixed plant and equipment.
Key duties include: Application of lubricant to fixed rotating equipment including stackers, ship loaders and unloaders.
Carry out condition monitoring sampling on fixed rotating equipment including stackers, ship loaders and unloaders.
Complete gearbox oil change outs at prescribed intervals to above equipment.
Ensure maintenance preparation of common user berth areas for operations and develop a continuous liaison to ensure most cohesive working arrangements.
Monitor and report progress against the established maintenance and operational plans and targets to the Maintenance Supervisors.
Skills & Experience Mechanical Trade background (desirable).
Relevant experience in a lubrication role in a heavy industrial environment.
Experience in condition monitoring sampling and vibration analysis techniques.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of heavy industrial plant and equipment such as conveyors, stackers, ship loaders/unloaders and associated control systems and processes.
Well-developed organisation and planning skills with the ability to plan and prioritise work.
