Job Description
About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Coordinator to join our team at our Emerald Cotton Gin site. This is a full-time position requiring a person who is mechanically minded.
The Procurement Coordinator key purpose is to assist the Gin Site Manager with stock and parts procurement, inventory management, inventory stock-takes, auditing and other duties associated with site management. The duties will mainly be administrative based with high levels of reporting, monitoring and follow up.
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Ordering/procuring parts and services (including price monitoring) Coordinating parts and materials to work orders and requests Audit and review discrepancies with inventory reporting Inventory management, stock takes and reconciliations Reporting of utility usage (electricity, water, fuel and gas) on a daily/weekly/monthly basis Carries out monthly WHS and Housekeeping Audits Maintain the premises in clean, tidy and safe condition Assist with employee rostering Assist in the plant where and when needed Prior experience working in a parts, production or industrial environment Robust reporting experience with demonstrated attention to detail Working within a strict safe work environment Proficient in Microsoft Suite programs Forklift Licence and Loader competency certificate Prior experience in parts and inventory reconciliations Mechanical, maintenance and/or electrical knowledge Machine Operation Benefits of working at LDC:
