Project Overview: Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy. Woodside Energy is Australia's leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source.
Job Summary: Bechtel Energy has an opportunity for a Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) Tagging Authority to join the Pluto Train 2 project working 3:1 FIFO in Karratha, WA.
In this role, you will provide knowledge, expertise, input, training, and consultative support for a discipline or process required for facility commissioning and startup. You will participate in work planning and packaging, turnover coordination, material management and quantities, quality control, and environmental safety and health. 
Major Responsibilities: Manage the integrated LOTO program on the Project coordinating between subcontractors, and all other affected entities to deliver a safe and uniform program for the control of workand isolation of hazardous sources of energy.  Ensure the energy isolation program complies with SWPPs, STCPs, and Q4Safety.  Provide input and support to the Construction, Operations, and Commissioning teams, in piping, mechanical, and electrical isolations.  Identify isolation boundaries based on work scope and develop and issue EIPs.  Administer and manage the energy isolation program with strict enforcement and record keeping.  Perform other duties as directed in support of project activities.  Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
  Required Knowledge and Skills: Previous Energy Isolation and Permitting Office experience, including time in Commissioning, Maintenance and/or Operations.  Must be able to read and understand/interpret electrical schematic, SLDs, wiring, instrument loops & mechanical PFD drawings.  Construction experience assigned to a construction site, with experience on an LNG construction site preferred.  Experience in oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing, or power generating station construction.  Knowledge of engineering and construction methods and processes customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience.  Advanced knowledge of Project Bechtel Standard Applications (BSAPs) including Setroute, Aconex, DSCS, PTR, Navisworks, and other automation tools which are used on Bechtel projects preferred.  Additional Information:
This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.), and work in inclement weather. Some lifting may be required. Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.).
The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products – i.e. cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site. 
This position is available to both local and non-local personnel. For non-locals (FIFO/DIDO), the working roster is 3/1.
