Loss Prevention Officers (Covert) F/T, P/T, CasualM.A. Services Group is a rapidly expanding business offering a wide range of security services delivered by our highly experienced and qualified personnel. We are currently looking for an experienced, motivated, and passionate candidate to join our team on a Casual FT & PT in the capacity of Loss Prevention Officer Covert. If that sounds like you, then we want you to join our team at our sites located throughout Canberra.
About the role Reporting into the Retail Supervisor Manager, the Loss Prevention Covert Officer is responsible for detecting and investigating shoplifting, fraud, and other unlawful acts in retail establishments. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work on a rotating roster; previous loss prevention and retail experience is highly desirable.
Other duties include: Apprehend offenders and call police.Strive to prevent theft of and malicious damage to the store's products.Support team members and other security services at all times.Deter theft and report missing assets.Respond to emergency situations.Risk identification and issue resolution.The ability and confidence to work both autonomously and in a team environment.Produce quality reports.Benefits and perks M.A. Services Group has a very generous remuneration package, well above the industry standard. Skills and experience To be successful for this role, you will possess the following:
MUST HAVE Current ACT Security LicenseMUST HAVE First Aid CertificateProven experience in the Loss Prevention and/or Retail industries highly desirable.Excellent observation skills highly desirable.Ability to identify patterns and potential behaviours leading to theft.Excellent presentation and grooming standards.A Positive and Proactive Approach.Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution.Evening & weekend availability are essential.Strong written communication skills, including incident report writing.Ability to multi-task and work autonomously in a high-paced team environment.If you require any further information about this position, please contact .
