The RoleAs the Inventory and Loss Prevention Accountant, you will possess unparalleled excellence in attention to detail, monitoring and managing stock movements, thrive on investigation, and be the key pillar in advising the business on how best to prevent risk and safeguard assets. This role will have you partnering with all departments of the business and is responsible for the accuracy of inventory, cost of sales, and loss prevention reporting. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain media relationships, pitching and achieving impactful results globally.Conduct compliance audits of stores and warehouses.Stocktake coordination through cycle counts and full stocktake. Set stocktake schedule in conjunction with Area Managers.Prepare monthly Loss Prevention report and design dashboard.Maintenance of loss prevention administration and reporting.Analyse transactions and communicate shrinkage, theft and fraud trends and issues.Balance sheet reconciliations.Accrual and provision calculations.Monthly journals.Manage monthly Faulty report based on Percentages data for Design team's review.Investigate and rectify faulty stock variances.Utilise Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems to review incidents of suspected theft and fraud and capture footage of such incidents for evidentiary purposes.Daily banking to till reconciliations and prompt follow up on variances.Your Sweet Spots (About You)Minimum 2 years' finance experience – FMCG, Retail or Wholesale inventory report (desirable).Qualification in Accounting.Excellent interpersonal & relationship building skills – think business partnering!Self-motivated, self-starter with high attention to detail, and high personal accountability.Excellent project management experience, with measurement & reporting skills.Solid knowledge of stock control and asset safeguarding.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Highly organised with great time management abilities.Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a wider team.Honey BenefitsHybrid Working Arrangements, 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH.Birthday, Wellness & Parental Leave.Generous Product Discounts.Convenient Sydney CBD Office.Premium gym membership.We love you just the way you are, honey!
