We offer modern facilities for camp accommodation with a short travel time of only five minutes from the mine site, Anglo American housing options and healthy meals!We are currently seeking an experienced Longwall Fitter on a permanent basis. This role will see you responsible for completing the Longwall maintenance tasks as a trade qualified Mechanical Fitter.The Longwall Fitter is accountable for ensuring all maintenance activities undertaken are performed in line with safety and statutory requirements. To be successful in this role you will ensure compliance with all Anglo American safety and operating systems and have a commitment to working together as part of a team to achieve business objectives. Qualifications:You will have proven mechanical maintenance experience within an underground coal mineHold a Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalentStrong experience in Diesel Engine Systems (DES), Hydraulics 2, and Brake Testing with relevant units completed (desirable)Ability to carry out maintenance works as it relates to LongwallDemonstrated ability to repair mining machinery and attend breakdownsAbility to conduct roof support installation and other maintenance works within the Longwall
