Job Description We are seeking a full-time Logistics Support Officer based in our office in Newstead. This position provides logistic support to facilitate the packing and transportation of containers from warehouse to port. This is a fixed term one-year role.
Responsibilities: Create warehouse packing ordersPrepare and lodge EDN and request for permit applicationsFacilitate booking truck transportationLiaise with shipping lines for booking and container releasesProcess contracts and ensure accuracy and complianceProviding assistance for data entry of export information via in-house programAttributes and skills: High attention to detail and data accuracyPositive attitude with ability to collaborate in a team environmentIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suiteExcellent written and oral communication skillsPrevious administration experienceAbility to prioritize, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced positionExperience: Understanding and knowledge of export documentationBenefits of working at LDC: Work for a global, leading commodities companyDiscounted health insurance options availableAccess to salary sacrifice options with novated car leasing after probation periodAccess to Employee Assistance ProgramsLDC is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a working environment that embraces and values diversity and inclusion.
