We're particularly excited to welcome applications from Logistics Support Analysts (LSA) to join our MSP division - Advisory Services in Melbourne, which is part of a consortium of independent, technical partners. We share and support Defence's commitment to growing and improving Australia's military capability, by delivering large, long term, integrated work packages across the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG). Land Systems Division of CASG is the single point of accountability for both acquisition and through-life-materiel support for designated land systems for the Australian Defence Force. Land Systems Division is responsible for delivery of a diverse range of capabilities to support 'raise, train and sustain' requirements and operational deployments. Logistics Support Analysis is the principal analytical methodology underpinning the Integrated Logistics Support Program. This role will work within an integrated ILS team to lead and deliver the LSA body of work. The LSA Specialist will undertake the selective application of analysis and evaluation techniques to provide consistent, objective and traceable supportability requirements, recommendations and support element products and services.Your responsibilities will include:Define, analyse and quantify Supportability requirements throughout the Material System life cycle of the IFV capability.Conduct LSA activities in accordance with Defence regulations and processes, including but not limited to DEFAUST(5691) – Logistic Support Analysis Defence Standard.Author and update the project LSA Plan, ensuring that any decisions to conduct tailoring of the LSA process are documented.Tailor the Land 400 Phase 3 LSA approach using selective application of analysis and evaluation techniques to provide consistent, objective and traceable Supportability requirements, recommendations and support element products and servicesPlan, coordinate and facilitate LSA Guidance Conferences with the down-selected Contractor throughout the Acquisition process, to guide the Contractors' understanding and ability to perform the LSA activities to achieve the program's Integrated Logistic Support goals and implement logistic requirementOur ideal candidate will present with;Prior experience working in an LSA programDemonstrated knowledge of the LSA Tailoring processPrior experience using LSAR to inform supportability recommendations and LSAPrior experience leading an LSA Program in a complex acquisition projectDemonstrated understanding of Defence regulations and standards relating to LSA,Candidates must hold or have recently held an NV1 Australian Government security clearance.At QinetiQ, our competitive remuneration and benefits package supports your evolving needs throughout your career.
