The Opportunity: We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Logistics Supply Support Lead to join our dynamic team at the Uralla Telemetry Tracking and Command Facility on the SouthPan Program.
SouthPAN is a Satellite-Based Augmentation System (SBAS) comprised of reference stations, telecommunications infrastructure, computing centers, signal generators, and satellites that provide improved positioning and navigation services in Australia, New Zealand, and its maritime region.
Responsibilities: In your role as the Logistics Supply Support Lead for the SouthPAN Program, your primary responsibility will be to ensure efficient and effective logistics operations to support the program's ongoing activities.
You will: Develop the Logistics Capability through process development.
Coordinator and manager supply and distribution support.
Deliver Logistics Support for enterprise outcomes.
Inventory management, manage repairs and inventory pipelines, raise and track purchase requests.
Team leadership and mentorship - support staff to develop their skills and improve overall team performance.
Ensure accurate equipment holdings and controls - oversee inventory controls, minimizing discrepancies.
About you: Experience using MILIS or MEX, or other similar logistics or maintenance systems.
Experience in Defence or similar logistics areas including inventory Control, Asset Management, Supply Chain, Maintenance Management, Calibration Management and Procurement Experience in mentoring and guiding other members within a Supply Support Organisations Ability to adapt and maintain a flexible approach to changing needs and priorities Special Requirements: As a NV1 clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian Citizens to be eligible and maintain this level of security clearance.
