This role reports to the Senior Operations Manager and is responsible for the efficient allocation of resources and coordination of local and line-haul logistics operations.Your responsibilities include:Recording daily duties for a team of approximately 40+ driversAllocating daily tasks for local drivers, line-haul drivers, and dog trailer runnersConfiguring trailer setups (single, double, and triple combinations) to optimise routesCollaborating with the Workshop Manager to schedule trucks, trailers, and dollys in line with the driver rosterChecking and signing off timesheets for accurate trackingLeading toolbox meetings to ensure safety and operational updatesSupporting HSE and Training teams to keep drivers' training and inductions currentAdministering fatigue management strategies to prioritise driver well-being and safetyMaintaining consistent communication with drivers to support daily operations and address any needs as they ariseAbout YouTo qualify, you will need relevant industry experience and qualifications, with a strong foundation in logistics or transport management, ideally within line-haul operations.
