Logistics Supervisor (Afternoon Shift)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success.
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Supervisor to lead our afternoon shift operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the logistics process, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of products, and meeting key performance indicators such as DIFOT (Delivery in Full, On Time).
Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate the afternoon shift logistics team.
- Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of goods to meet DIFOT requirements.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels and stock movements.
- Collaborate with the production and planning teams to ensure seamless workflow.
- Maintain safety, quality, and hygiene standards throughout the logistics process.
- Train and develop team members to enhance operational efficiency.
- Address any issues or delays that arise during the shift and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare reports on logistics performance and shift activities.
Qualifications: - Previous experience in a supervisory role within logistics, distribution, or supply chain.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and warehousing processes.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is a plus.
Skills:   - Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in production planning software, ERP.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of attention to detail   - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
