About the role This role provides professional logistics and stores services for the Zinfra Power services North Business, ensuring materials and equipment are prepared, coordinated, and managed in accordance with Zinfra's purchasing policy and processes while providing support in line with Zinfra guidelines and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities include Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery, and lead-times.Order and manage all stock movements and follow through with discrepancies that arise in a timely manner.Record the movements and quantity of materials used by internal resources and/or contractors for job costing.Maintain safe custody of materials including the storage, handling, and inspection of all goods.Ensure investment recovery procedures for obsolete, surplus, and scrap materials within the business are adhered to.Liaise with delivery managers, project managers, and supervisors to determine material and equipment requirements.Liaise closely with user groups and Logistics on material availability, lead times, or unusual demand.Provide proactive and positive client/customer management and maintain key stakeholder relationships.Engage and provide feedback to business units/departments on issues that are affecting the performance of the logistics business – such as project planning accuracy, STL/BOM accuracy, and vendor issues.About You Solid understanding of all logistics policies, procedures, and activities related to electricity network asset/s.Knowledge of appropriate manual handling techniques.Understanding of Client stores operating system (desirable).Understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain operating procedures.Demonstrated high level of computer literacy and competence in the use of the MS suite of software.SAP experience will be highly regarded.High data input speed and accuracy.Our people are our energy source, and we offer meaningful benefits and rewards that work for you.
