The Role:As a Logistics Specialist, the primary focus of your role will be to ensure that key logistic tasks are managed and performed keeping in mind operational costs, service, and safety standards. In this role, you will liaise with internal customers, local stakeholders, and third-party suppliers to ensure customers and their orders are prioritized and processed within service standards.
Who You Are:Experience in logistics or supply chain, in a warehousing or transport environment would be preferred.Third Party Supplier management experience an advantage.Command strong computer skills – a fast learner of cutting-edge technologies; any experience with ERP systems, SAP is advantageous.Collaborative and builds rapport with various internal/external stakeholders; a good communicator.Has strong customer service orientation; action-oriented and able to get things done in a busy demanding operating environment.Familiarity with operational planning & management practices in a logistics setting; process-driven with numeracy skills.Customer service oriented with solutions focus; able to think on feet and craft solutions.Data-driven with the ability to present financial and operational data.Underpinning your success will be your strong attention to detail skills and ability to problem solve.Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or associated field would be advantageous.What we offer:We are curious minds that come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
