Logistics Specialist

Additional responsibilities include collaborating with the executive committee, consulting with software companies, and representing the company at conferences. Qualifications and skills include formal qualifications in a relevant field, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and experience in leading and managing teams. The salary range is A$ 100,000 to A$ 140,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Manage and monitor day-to-day logistics activities.Provide plans and quotations for logistics services, including complex shipments.Liaise with service providers to negotiate prices and terms.Ensure appropriate legal paperwork is completed and filed for each project.Monitor projects to ensure costs remain within targets.Act as an escalation point in event of delays or other issues.Undertake analysis of logistics projects, recognizing areas of improvement.Identify and research business opportunities and assist to define strategic sales targets.Help drive business expansion with an emphasis on European customers and agents.Collaborate with the executive committee to set and implement organizational strategies.Consult with software companies to develop project logistics software.Represent the company at conferences and exhibitions.
